Refund policy

Carat Gallery, each piece is created and handled with care.
If something isn’t as expected, we offer a limited return and exchange policy under the conditions outlined below.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept return requests within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in original condition

  • All original packaging, tags, and documentation must be intact

  • The product must not show any signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, the following items are not eligible for return:

  • Earrings (including studs, hoops, etc.)

  • Personalized or custom-made jewellery

  • Items purchased during sale or promotional offers (unless defective)


3. Exchanges

We offer exchange only in case of size issues or manufacturing defects, subject to availability.

  • Requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery

  • The product must be unused and in original condition

If the requested item is unavailable, store credit may be issued.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share clear images/videos of the issue

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or appropriate resolution.


5. Refunds

We do not offer direct cash refunds in most cases.

Approved returns will be processed as:

  • Store credit, or

  • Exchange for another product

Refunds to the original payment method may be considered only in case of:

  • Verified manufacturing defects

  • Order cancellation before dispatch


6. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at:

Include:

  • Order ID

  • Product details

  • Reason for return

  • Supporting images (if applicable)

Our team will guide you through the next steps.


7. Shipping for Returns

  • Customers may be required to ship the product back to us

  • Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect

  • We recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking


8. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled.


Important Note

Due to the nature of jewellery, slight variations in finish, tone, or detailing may occur.
These are not considered defects but part of the product’s character.
